Your First Visit
-
Pre-registration for classes is not required, but HIGHLY recommended through your Bhavana Yoga App (directions below), classes can fill up and we wouldn't want you to show up to a full class.
-
Bhavana Yoga Studio is located in the southeast corner of the Parkway Collections plaza between TT Nails and Stanley's Eyewear. Follow the sidewalk under our green Bhavana Yoga sign towards the back parking lot.
-
Our doors open 15 minutes before class and doors lock promptly at the scheduled class start time. This ensures a safe and smooth environment for all attendees.
-
Remember to bring water bottle to fill and your yoga mat if you have one. We do have a water refill station for you, but we do not provide cups as to not be wasteful.

Class Descriptions
The list below is not an exclusive list of all classes Bhavana has offered.
Please see our class schedule here for our current offerings.
Aroma Restorative
A deeply relaxing healing practice focused on stimulating the parasympathetic system with the intention of calming the body and the mind. Props such as straps, bolsters, blocks, chairs and blankets are used with the purpose of supporting the body to minimize physical effort in the poses. Great for all levels + essential oils.
Gentle Yoga
A slower paced, gentle yoga class that focuses on mindful movement, breath work, meditation, and replenishment. A great class for all levels, those looking for slower movements or have challenges get up and down. This is also a wonderful recovery class from athletic events, high intensity activities, or injuries.
Qi Yoga Flow
A mindful flow practice for all levels combining elements of both yoga and basic concepts of the Traditional Chinese practice of Qigong ("chee-gong"). You'll explore your breath and spirit through connections to the meridian and chakra systems, 5 element theory, traditional yoga and qigong movements, and more to enhance the flow of your vital energy (life force, qi, prana).
The class is 99% standing and often with the option of not using your yoga mat to allow for more freedom in movements. This class is led by Brittany Coblentz, MSOM. She holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine Medicine, bringing a unique energy and education to this offering.
Yin + Restore
Yin Yoga helps improve flexibility and uses longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body - it's a great class for anyone looking to gain flexibility of body and mind. We will offer props to make the long holds accessible for all levels + meditations.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga helps improve flexibility and uses longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body - it's a great class for men, perfect for athletes or anyone looking for increased flexibility. Expect our Heated Yin Yoga version to be kept between 90 - 100 degrees.
Roll + Release
This class will mindfully guide you through the use of body rolling/massage balls to explore myofascial release in the areas of your body that are tight. We work on the connective tissue through body rolling + myofascial release to free up the muscles + tendons, thus aiding in increased flexibility, decreased pain, and even improved joint mobility. Class is open to all levels, but if you're unsure if this class is for you, send us a message.
Slow Flow
A well-balanced class that encourages students to connect their own unique breath to slow-paced movements. Slow Flow sequences are curated to cultivate balance, strength, flexibility, ease within the practitioners’ body, and a sustainable practice through proper alignment, use of props, and guidance from our instructors. This class will also introduce students to different breathing techniques + meditation that’s perfect for all levels.
Mindful Vinyasa Flow
All yoga is mindful, but our Mindful Vinyasa focuses on linking conscious breath with a mindfully paced fluid flow. Throughout the practice, you'll be invited to connect to your postures and mindfully explore it's shape and feel. You can expect to build strength, improve flexibility + concentration while cleansing the body + calming the mind. Flow sequences are curated to cultivate a sustainable practice through proper alignment, use of props, and guidance from our instructors.
This class is open to all levels, but expect this class to move at a mindfully faster pace than our other flow classes, but slower than a traditional vinyasa class.
Flow Basics
Flow Basics is a welcoming class designed for beginners (and seasoned practitioners) to explore the fundamental movements and techniques of yoga flows. This class focuses on building a solid foundation and a sustainable practice, emphasizing breath awareness, alignment, and fluid transitions.
Perfect for those new to yoga or looking to refine their practice, Flow Basics offers a supportive environment to grow and build confidence in your practice.
You will also explore foundational postures, the 8-limbs of yoga, how to utilize props, and more through this mindful practice.
