Class Descriptions
The list below is an extensive list of all classes Bhavana has offered.
Please see our class schedule here for our current offerings.
Chair Yoga
This class includes basic poses using a chair for support so it's easier to maintain proper alignment and form. Perfect for beginners, mature adults and people who struggle with the flexibility or balance demands of a traditional yoga class. Reap the benefits of asana (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), and short meditations without getting down on the floor.
Aroma Restorative
A deeply relaxing healing practice focused on stimulating the parasympathetic system with the intention of calming the body and the mind. Props such as straps, bolsters, blocks, chairs and blankets are used with the purpose of supporting the body to minimize physical effort in the poses. Great for all levels + essential oils.
Yin + Restore
Yin Yoga helps improve flexibility and uses longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body - it's a great class for anyone looking to gain flexibility. We will use all the props to make the long hold accessible for all levels + meditations.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga helps improve flexibility and uses longer holds to get beyond the muscle tissue into the connective tissue, the fascia of the body - it's a great class for men, perfect for athletes or anyone looking for increased flexibility. Expect our Heated Yin Yoga version to be kept between 90 - 100 degrees.
